Orchestral Youth Concert

Join the Vermont Youth Orchestra and Vermont Symphony Orchestra as they explore the elements that contribute to that magical moment when the orchestra starts to swing. The fourth and final concert in Carnegie Hall’s Link Up series, The Orchestra Swings looks at the many things that is swing: a rhythmic feel; a musical era; a dance style; and that moment when all of the musicians are in the groove. Participating teachers receive free recorders for each ticketed student as well as a simple curriculum.
