Stand Up, Sit Down, and Laugh

Founded in 2005 by Josie Leavitt, the Flynn's hilarious comedy series, Stand Up, Sit Down, and Laugh, continues this month, featuring Burlington-based comic and writer Lindsey Haddad, Meredith Gordon, who plays her alter ego, Thelma Forbanks in her crazy late night talk show, Late Night with Thelma Forbanks, Seven Days Readers Choice nominee for best stand-up comic Maggie Lenz, and Liam Welsh, who is new to the Burlington stand-up scene and one of the finalists in this year's Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Competition. Guest host Tim Bridge, the 2017 winner of the Vermont’s Funniest Comedian Competition and co-host of Skinny Pancake's Comedy & Crepes, anchors the evening.
