Rosencratz and Guildenstern Are Dead

Acclaimed as a modern masterpiece, Tom Stoppard's best-known work Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead is the fabulously inventive tale of Hamlet as told from the worm's-eye view of the bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters in Shakespeare's play. This Shakespearean Laurel and Hardy finally get a chance to take the lead role. But do so in a world where echoes of Waiting for Godot resound, where reality and illusion intermix, and where fate leads our two heroes to a tragic but inevitable end.

Coming off of a win for Best Actor in a Youth Production and three additional nominations at the 2019 NH Theatre Awards, the Academy is at it again! Directed by AMP's founding artistic director and award-winning youth theatre director Shelly Hudson, with a cast of 12 early-career artists from around the region, This "theatre in the round" event is not to be missed.
