The Tangled Skirt

The Tangled Skirt directed by Kristen Hixon, features two strangers who await the last bus out of town. As small talk turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse, both seek advantage. Trapped in their own secrets and lies, to be the last one standing. As the bus barrels toward the station, Bailey (Alex Nicosia) and Rhonda (Sandra Gartner), torn by passion and greed, must confront each other and themselves as fate closes in.

Steve Braunstein has received productions of his plays at theatres across the country and around the world. His noir drama The Tangled Skirt (NJ Rep debut) received an Edgar Award Nomination for Best Play from The Mystery Writers of America and has since been produced in England, Ireland, Istanbul and most recently Italy.

Patrons of the theatre are asked to please bring their vaccination cards and to wear a mask when they are inside. The Tangled Skirt will be presented as a staged reading and suggested donations will be accepted at the door. The show will be presented on Friday, October 15th and Saturday, October 16th at 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 17th at 3 p.m.
