Artist Seminar with Buffalo Nichols

The Buffalo Nichols Artist Seminar will be held at the Barre Opera House.

Raised in Milwaukee and based in Austin, the artist born Carl Nichols, aka Buffalo Nichols, found solace and inspiration in the guitar at a young age, raiding his family’s record collections for musical truth and splitting his time as a young man between local bars and the church, honing a sound that matured and developed through soul-seeking sojourns to West Africa and Europe. Lauded as a poignant lyricist and evocative musician, Nichols will be offering an artist seminar to students interested in learning more about blues music on May 10th.

The seminar will begin at 4:00 PM, please arrive 15 minutes prior.
