King Lear

King Lear's descent into paranoia and madness at the end of his life finds him caught in a merciless power struggle between his daughters and other members of his court. Chaos takes hold as Lear’s true allies are branded traitors, his enemies surround him, and his kingdom and family begin to crumble.

This tragedy of a man's final journey is depicted through Lear’s eyes with bold, expressionist staging as he loses his grip on reality, his sense of self, and all he holds dear.
