Musical Theater
A Chorus Line will be presented at The Flynn November 13-16, 2025, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM and evening performances Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM. Friday’s performance will feature an ASL translator for the hearing impaired.
A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway ensemble audition. Exploring the inner lives and bittersweet ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, A Chorus Line was instantly recognized as a classic. 2025 is the 50th anniversary of the original production!
The themes of A Chorus Line are poignant for both artists and non-artists in this day and age of “performance”; social media and the internet are king. (“Who am I, anyway?”) Life, not just the arts, are a competition. We all want to be seen, heard, valued. We all have a story. This show captures the vulnerability of putting yourself out there, the fear of rejection, and the need for validation to sometimes survive in the day to day or within an industry.
This is a raw and energetic, heartbreaking and invigorating show that is aimed to contain gorgeous moments of intimacy and emotion, entertaining tales of growing up, risk taking, and discovery, and the shadows and starkness of a deeply competitive field.
