Champlain Valley Union High School proudly presents Into the Woods, a witty, thought provoking musical, by composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim and playwright James Lapine.  On the surface, it's a fairy tale mash-up, including characters like Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, witches and wolves. But underneath, it explores what happens AFTER "Happy ever after." These characters, driven by their desires, intersect with other narratives in the magical woods, facing real consequences, as they deal with the complexities of relationships, particularly between parents and children.
