Jay Rivera (he/him) is a passionate Vermont-based performer who found his love for theatre through the encouragement of friends—and never looked back. Specializing in acting, singing, and dancing, Jay brings enthusiasm and heart to every role he takes on. His journey has led him to perform with Lyric Theatre, including appearances in the ensemble of The Little Mermaid and the TYA production of James and the Giant Peach, where his commitment to storytelling truly shines.

With a background in Communications and a deep personal interest in both media design and mental health advocacy, Jay seeks to create theatre that resonates deeply with audiences. He believes in the power of shared experience, and values the unexplainable connection formed when creating art in collaboration with others. Theatre isn’t just a passion for Jay—it’s become a core part of his identity.
